Just 6 ingredients. No cheating. No gimmicks.

Discover the Test Kitchen's secrets to six-ingredient cooking in this special issue based on our groundbreaking cookbook. Yes, fewer ingredients means less time shopping and less time prepping. But there's no point in making any recipe unless the dish is really good. As we worked developing truly delicious six-ingredient recipes, we found clever ways to use familiar ingredients that save time and build flavor. Recipes include apps such as Warm Bacon-Wrapped Chorizo and Dates, hearty mains such as Unstuffed Chicken Cordon Bleu, grilled favorites such as Grill-Smoked Salmon with Creamy Cucumber-Dill Salad, and no-fuss desserts such as our French Caramel Apple Tart.

"Worth its weight in gold for the practical cook who wants to feel confident about putting good food on the table."
