When can I expect my order to arrive?

Orders typically take 1-2 weeks for delivery within the US. You'll receive an email confirmation as soon as your order ships.

If you do not receive a tracking number in your confirmation email and need one, you can give us a call at 1-800-611-0759 (Monday through Friday, 8am to 7pm CST), and we’ll be happy to help!

I haven’t received my order, what should I do?

Orders typically take 1-2 weeks for delivery within the US. If you think your order might have gotten lost or should have arrived already, contact us at 1-800-611-0759 (Monday through Friday, 8am to 7pm CST) within 14 days of your shipping confirmation, and we’ll be happy to help!

I received a damaged item. What should I do?

Please reach out to us at support@americastestkitchen.com within 30 days of your order and we'll be happy to help you. If you have snapshots of the damage, please include those along with your order information in your email.

Can I return this item? How do I set up a return?

All equipment deals and kits are final sale, and we’re unable to accept returns. If your item arrived damaged, please reach out to us at support@americastestkitchen.com within 30 days of your order, and we'll be happy to help you.
You can return a cookbook by filling out and printing our pre-paid return label.
Please make sure to hang on to the bottom half of your return label so you can track the return of your package. If you have any trouble printing the return label, give us a call at 1-800-611-0759 and we’ll be happy to help you.

How can I cancel my order?

Because we want your item in your hands as soon as possible, we have limited time to cancel your order and may not be able to accommodate your request. Please reach out to us at 1-800-611-0759 (Monday through Friday, 8am to 7pm CST).

I entered the wrong shipping address. How can I adjust my order?

Do you charge sales tax?

Based on local and state laws, we collect sales tax wherever required, including MA, IA, CT, OH, and NY. This charge would have appeared on your summary during checkout.

How much is shipping?

We provide free standard shipping on most orders over $40 shipped within the US. There may be an additional charge for some oversized items. Exceptions may also apply for deliveries outside the contiguous 48 states.

Can you deliver to PO Boxes or APO addresses?

Cookbooks and DVDs shipped via the Standard Delivery option can be delivered to PO boxes and APO addresses. However, some expedited ship methods do not allow delivery to PO Boxes or APO addresses. Additionally, some of our equipment products may not be available for shipment to PO Boxes or APO addresses.

Do you ship internationally?

While cookbooks and DVDs can be shipped internationally, equipment deals and kits can only be shipped within the U.S.


All prices are expressed in U.S. currency. If placing an order to an address outside of the U.S., customs and import duties may be applied once the shipment reaches its destination. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and will vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.

What is your return policy?

Equipment kits, deals, and apparel are final sale and we cannot accept returns on these items. In these cases, the return policy will be clearly marked on the product detail page and in your cart.


You can return your unmarked and undamaged cookbook or DVD within 12 months of the order date using our pre-paid return label.

How do I set up a return?

To set up a return on your eligible cookbook or DVD, simply fill out and print our pre-paid return label. If you have any trouble printing the return label, simply give us a call at 1-800-611-0759 and we’ll be happy to help you. Please make sure to include the packing slip from your order, or some other clear identification of the customer (name and complete mailing address, or account number) to make sure your account is properly credited. You can hang on to the bottom half of your return label to track your returned package.

I didn’t purchase my book directly through America’s Test Kitchen. Can I make a return?

We're happy to accept cookbook returns on orders purchased directly through ATK. If your cookbook was purchased from a different retailer, please contact that retailer directly for further assistance.

What are Kits for Cooks?

America’s Test Kitchen Kits for Cooks are carefully selected collections of our highest-rated kitchen equipment, paired with recipes and instruction. Each piece of equipment has been thoroughly, independently tested by our experts. We design and source our kits to help you get started on a new type of cooking or to upgrade your kitchen tool set. Your entire kit will arrive in one package.

Can I purchase kit items separately?

Because pieces from our kits are packaged together, we’re unable to separate items or accommodate individual requests. All sales are final, and we cannot accept returns on individual items or whole kits. If you’re looking to purchase these items separately, visit our equipment reviews and click the “Buy Now” button on our top-rated items.

I noticed a kit has different items in it than before. Why did it change?

Occasionally you may notice that a kit has different items in it than before. There are many reasons why we might change the composition of a kit. The two most likely reasons are: (1) Our equipment testing team updated their review for a particular item and no longer rate it as highly; (2) We determined that changing the composition of a kit makes it a better value for our customers.

Please note, any branded apparel and gear is entirely independent of our equipment testing process. For example, our branded aprons have no connection to the products tested in the development our apron equipment review.

America’s Test Kitchen Exclusive Deals are highly rated products available in limited quantities for a limited time. When it is possible to source a great deal on products that have been independently recommended by the America’s Test Kitchen equipment testing team, we pass those savings along to our fans and subscribers.
